Yvonne “Linda” Williams

Yvonne "Linda" Williams was born in New York City, New York on December 17, 1954, to Albert and Gertrude Wilson (Walker). Linda transitioned from this life on Earth on December 5, 2023. Linda was preceded in death by both her parents, Albert and Gertrude Wilson, her daughter, Crassendra Williams, and grandson, Cortez Wilson. Linda received her early education in the Catholic School system where she graduated valedictorian from St. Pius X in New York City. Linda showed her patriotism for this country through her service in the United States Navy for which she was proud. Linda later moved to Kansas City, MO where she raised four children on her own. Linda attended Penn Valley Community College and took a job in the security department, from which she retired. Linda was loved dearly by those closest to her. Linda is survived by one brother, Brian Lewis (Kendra), three children, DeQuai Wilson, Nicole Williams, and Alfred Williams, one nephew, one niece, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several great-nieces, and a great-nephew.
