Obituary for Willie Dell McDowell

Willie Dell McDowell, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, November 9th, 2016 peacefully her residence in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born to the union on Bettie Hawkins and Dave Phillips in Demopolis, Alabama. She was preceded in deh by both parents and her son, Kenneth Scott. She accepted Christ an early age. A devout Christian in deed. She was a faithful member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church where she sung in the choir as she also was sure to tend bible studies. She was a loyal employee for Research Medical Center where she would spend 39 years dediced to her duties until her departure from earth. She leaves to cherish her memories to one son, Arthur Leon Scott of Kansas City, Missouri; two older sisters, Ethel M. Smith of Kansas City, Missouri and Sara J. Cooke of Demopolis, Alabama; one brother, Charlie L. Hawkins of Wichita, Kansas; six grandchildren, a special nephew, Reginald D. Hawkins and wife, Kendra. Willie McDowell also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relive, and countless friends. Especially, her special friends in life, Ms. Alberta and Ms. Ramona.
