Obituary for Warren Stevernson

In Seoul Korea, August 20th, 1951, Le Ki Son was born. Three years ler he and his best friend who would soon be his sister Mary Caroline Stevernson were adopted and brought to the United Stes by Warren F. Stevernson, Sr. and wife Gertrude Stevernson. During the adoption process he was name Warren Fredrick Stevernson, Jr. But affectionally called Ricky by everyone. With his parents being founders of St. Mary’s Grand Holy Tabernacle Ricky was raised and rooted in the Word of GOD. Accepting Jesus Christ an early age and being very active. He was one of the leaders in the youth department, which he loved dearly, and he also held several other positions in the church. He loved kids. And it was said th Ricky was heavy into Boy Scouts. In September of 1964, another addition was added to the Stevernson family, a newborn baby girl who was named Leonetta J Stevernson. He gradued from Central Senior High School in 1970, ler received a certifice as an electrical technician. He became district manager of Radio Shack where he worked for several years until he went on to become a machine operor Ford Motor Company, where he would work almost to retirement. He also, owned a small appliance repair shop. In 1978 Ricky met Blenda McKinney who had two girls Teralyn and Tracy from a previous relionship. The two began ding and married a year ler in 1979. And only one year after marriage, they would have a child of their own. Ricky would have a son who he would name Roderick after his middle name Fredrick. Ricky was a lover of the outdoors. Family was a very important part of his life. Ricky and Blenda would host family game nights and holiday parties where family and friends would come and have a wonderful time. Every year Ricky, his wife and three children would go on vacion to Lake of the Ozarks and Branson, Missouri. One of his best tributes was his skills on the BBQ grill. As well as being MacGyver, able to fix anything and being a Jack of all trades. Fun fact: Ricky took accordion lessons as a kid! Ricky will be missed by! Siblings: Mary Caroline Jackson (Edward), Leonetta Brown Bonus brother Jerry Maddox, Special cousin Kenneth Leonard Children: Teralyn Holmes, Tracy McKinney, Roderick Stevernson, God Daughter Lashanda Henderson Grand Children: Paige Holmes, Payton Holmes, Jayden Stevernson, Jordan Stevernson, and Jaslyn Stevernson, Nieces and Nephews: Desmond Woods, Carmen Woods, Takeisha Brown, Sherrell Maddox, Dana (Anthony), Austin Maddox, Jason Maddox, Kenya James Allen, Alexander Leonard, Sydney Leonard, Jordan Leonard, Gre Nieces and Nephews: Trenton Brown, Tori Brown, Yrral Salaam, Anthony Austin, Jr, Tyson Austin, Jason Maddox Jr, Jayden Maddox, and Jordyn Maddox Gre Gre Niece: Amira Salaam, and a host of family and friends worldwide who he loved dearly!
