Vera Frederick

Vera Fredrick passed on January 10, 2019 the age of 97, Vera was called home to be with the Lord.Vera Frederick was born July 2, 1921 to the union of Velma Barton and Lejoy Garner along with her brother Jesse Garner who proceeded in deh and Linus Magellan Garner and Dorothy Garner. Vera was raised by her grandmother, Ellen Newton after her mother passed unexpectedly from childbirth She tended the Louisiana public school district in Many, LA. She ler spreaded her wings and moved to Kansas City, MO where she met the love of her life Lester E Frederick Sr. In 1940 she married her best friend and to this union she had Lester E Frederick Jr, Richard L Frederick Sr, Barbara E Jackson and Brenetta L Golden. Vera also raised her niece Dorothy Baylis. Lester and Vera were lifelong members of the Masonic Frernal and Eastern Stars Vera worked as a civil service worker for the US Navy. Vera and Lester owned a Standard Oil Service Stion and Fredericks Janitorial Service. Due to the passing of her beloved husband Lester E Frederick Sr she became the sole owner until she retired. Vera had a very special friend Gamaliel B Gray who helped her continue life. Vera lost her first-born grandson Richard L Frederick Jr in 1985 and she adopted her gre granddaughters Lavonna and Jehanna Frederick. Vera was known as “Granny” to many and she was always big on family. Vera lived life to the fullest and enjoyed family gherings. She leaves to mourn her daughters Barbara E Jackson, Jehanna Frederick and Lavonna Frederick all of Kansas City, MO. She was proceeded in deh by her children Richard L Frederick Sr, Lester E Frederick Jr, and Brenetta L Golden. One brother Linus Magellan Garner (Mary) and One sister Dorothy Garner both of Louisiana. Nieces and nephews, a host of grandchildren, gre grandchildren, gre-gre grandchildren and gre-gre-gre grandchildren.
