Obituary for Velmos Williams

Velmos Williams 86 passed away peacefully on August 15, 2015, was born home in Helena, Arkansas on June 23, 1929 to Frank and Minnie Williams Sr. Both Parents preceded him in deh. He was educed Eliza Miller High School in West Helena, Arkansas. He was the eldest of 8 siblings of which sisters’ Florence Williams Parker, Hazel Williams Oliver and Ivra Williams Glenn and brother Frank Williams, Jr. preceded him in deh. He was also preceded in deh by his 2nd wife Susie Hch Williams of Little Rock, Arkansas. His 1st wife Mtie Betsy Williams and two of their children Velmos Williams, Jr and Augustus Williams. Immediely following school he gained employment Army Corps of Engineers in Arkansas. Soon after he moved to Kansas City, MO and was employed Beloves Toys and ler retired from Superior Toy Factory as a Foreman Manager. He leaves to cherish his memory: Brothers’ Napoleon Williams of Kansas City, KS and James Williams of Chicago, IL; sister Georgia B. Williams Hawthorne of Helena, Arkansas; children, James Bryant of Illinois (4 Grands), Christine Williams of Arkansas (5 Grands), Edward Lee Williams of Minnesota (2 Grands), Marcellus Williams of Oklahoma (2 Grands), Donald Lee Williams(Pricia) of Tennessee (2Grands), Alonzo Lee Williams (Michelle) of Virginia (2 Grands), and John Williams of Tennessee (2 Grands). Huey Lenese Winge of Missouri (4 Grands), Veista Williams of Missouri (8 Grands), Funcine Williams of Missouri (6 Grands), Constance Williams of Texas (6 Grands), Darlene Williams Lacy (Raymond Sr.) of Missouri (3 Grands), Victoria Williams of Missouri (5 Grands), Olivia L. Williams of Missouri (2 Grands) and Lakesha Winge of Missouri; and a host of gre grands, nieces’, nephews’, cousins,’ and friends’ two special friends George and Lewis.
