Sue Ellen Cottrell

Sue Ellen Cottrell (70), passed away on October 2nd, 2016 peacefully in her sleep surrounded by loved ones. Sue Ellen was born August 16th, 1946 to Grant and Dorothy Grossman in Maryville, Missouri. She gradued a Stanberry Bulldog in 1964. Sue ler moved to Independence, Missouri where she met husband, Glen and became a Cottrell. She worked several years AARP. In 1999, Sue was diagnosed with diabetes and it quickly took her eyesight, but it did not defe her. Although she had no kids, she was the proud momma of a Fur baby Yorkie named Pete. Sue enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was always so full of love and compassion. She is preceded in deh by her (husband) Glen, (mother) Dortohy, (fher) Grant, (cousin) Mary June and (dog) Pete. She is survived by her sister Jean Shirrell of Stanberry, MO. and Mary Smith of Independence, MO. Her nephew Kevin Shirell, nieces Jean Ann Shirell, Jodi Ellis, Danielle Smith, Rebecca Smith, (cousin) Jannette Brake. As well as an abundance of Gre nieces, nephews, Keeton’s and Cottrell’s, friends and loved ones. There will be a celebrion a ler time, for more informion contact the family.
