Shirly Norton

Shirly Diane Norton was born to the le Ola Mae Norton and Alvin Norton on February 27, 1960, joining her five siblings Verlie Norton, Alfeda Norton, Paul Norton and the le Alvin Norton Jr. God Called Shirly to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 28, 2022. She gradued from Central High School in 1978. She went on to continue her educion by achieving her associes degree from Penn Valley Community College. Shirly worked as a caretaker for people who had a lifetime of mental impairment for 10+ yrs. With the help of her friends and business partners: Cassandra Shaver and Yolanda Roberts, she opened her own care facility: “A Touch Of Love Inc.”. She was able to provide care, love, and development in her community, also most passione about creing job opportunities. Shirly was not only a person of love, but determined to make sure those she grew up with and met throughout her life were safe and well taken care of in ANY time of need. She was the person we could count on. In her words: “I GOT YOU” Truly the life of any party, the tree th connected an infinite amount of people, with many different backgrounds. She always made sure everyone was comfortable in any space or situion. She will be deeply missed by us all. She is succeeded by her one and only son; Nicholas Charles Anderson of Kansas City, MO and an infinite amount of family and friends.
