Sharon Denise *Honey* Dixon

Sharon Denise *Honey* Dixon 62 was born on the 11th day of August, 1953 and transitioned to her heavenly home on the 14th day of January 2016.  She was a life-long resident of Kansas City, Missouri.  She tended Paseo High School class of 1971.  Sharon was the eldest of three children of Manuel and Juanita Dixon who preceded her in deh. In the early years of life Sharon accepted Christ as her Lord and personal savior Canaan Missionary Baptist Church under the ler Robert B. Poe leadership (known as Canaan Worship Center, Senior Pastor Tony D. Cobbins). Sharon retired from the Defense Finance and Accounting Services in 2005 to take on an important role of becoming Honey to her first grandchild. Sharon *Honey* Dixon was loved and adorned by all who came in contact with her, etching th one of a kind friendship on the hearts of many.  Sharon was known for telling you like it is whether meeting her for the very first time or having a long lasting friendship.  Sharon heart was like gold which in itself tracted a variety of friends throughout the years th can tell you more about her than any story written can say. The last chapter of Sharon *Honey *Dixon was completed on January 14, 2016 peacefully surrounded by family and close friends and was comforted with the arms of the Lord, she will be grely missed by her daughter Juanita Michelle (Mommie), Noah (grandson), Olivia (grand- daughter), Nekoda (gre-grandson), Brothers Mark Dixon, Charlie (Mauri), Nieces MarQuita, Sharon, Brianna, Aisha, S*amir (gre-niece), Nephews Jerrell, Markeese, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relives extending from coast to coast, along with a host of friends made and kept throughout the years.
