Roosevelt Figures

Roosevelt Figures affectionately know as "Doosey" passed away October 20, 2023 at the VA Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born April 28, 1957 to Roosevelt Logan and Rosezetta Figures in Kansas City, Missouri. His parents, grandmother Lennie Perry, and his sister Barbara Muhammad all preceded him in transition. He received his education in Kansas City, MO. public Schools, he joined the US Army and was honorably discharged. He was employed by at the Kansas City Club, the Phoenix Hotel and Reed Janitorial Services before his health began to decline. Roosevelt accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and professed to having Jesus Christ in his heart. He leaves to cherish his memory his son D'Juan Banks and family; daughter LeKeisha Johnson; his brother Everett Beverly; sisters Florence Woods of Kansas City, MO., Jewel Figures of Atlanta, GA., Wanda Butler(Byron) of Carson, CA., Mary Jefferson and Paula Logan of ST.
