Robert Newton Burris

Robert Newton Burris 66 passed away March 10, 2016  was born  November 4th, 1949 in Corpus Christi, Texas He went to Northeast High School. After high school he enrolled in college to become a draftsman. He succeeded in becoming a draftsman and worked happily for Carter Wers for 23 years.   He enjoyed many things in life such as; video games, lawn work, politics, and seafood. He enjoyed playing his records and making jokes; he loved to make others laugh and smile. He was a very hard working and giving man, who was also incredibly family oriented. Family always came first to him. Earlier in his life he spent his spare time playing pool and poker with his wife Betty Jane, it was one of his favorite things to do. He was always a night owl. Robert married Betty Jane on December 12th, 1987. They then had their daughter Cassaundra Burris and seven years ler had their other daughter Brenda Burris. From his previous marriage he had his son David Burris and Lisa Burris. He has 4 grandchildren he loved very dearly, with a fifth one on the way. They are Sierra Burris, Isaiah  Howerton, Austin Graham, and Alex Graham. He is survived by his wife Betty Burris, his children Cassaundra Burris, Brenda Burris, and Lisa Burris; His grandchildren Sierra Burris, Isaiah Howerton, Alex Graham, Austin Graham and his nephews Mthew Burris and Christopher Burris.
