Ora Lee Rimpson

Ora Lee Rimpson 77 passed away on December 26, 2017 was born on September 16, 1940 in Htieville Arkansas to the union of Elamina Canady and Hubert Gunnels. She was the third of seven children. Ora Lee Rimpson gradued from Conway High School in Arkansas, she ler moved to Kansas City, Mo. and worked in the medical field for 30 plus years. She was Baptist and a early age she became a member of Spruce St.Mthew Baptist Church in Kansas City, Mo. She is preceded in deh by her parents Elmina Bogges and Hubert Gunnels, three sisters Barnett Blackwell, Joella Evans, Amnalene Ellsberry; two brothers Eugene Garrett (Shirley) and Troy Canady; three children Stacy L. Gunnels, Karen K. Gunnels, Eddie L. Luster, one grandson Ronzell Gunnels. Ora Lee Rimpson was married to David L. Luster and a son was born of this union, she ler married Willie Rimpson Sr. and a son was born of this union. She loved life and people, she was devoted to her family and most of all her children and grandchildren. Ms. Rimpson leaves to cherish her memory: two sons Willie Rimpson Jr., Bobby Gunnels; daughter Regina Rogersof the home; sister Betty McDaniels; grandchildren DaShawn Rogers (Mileen), Chrystal Gunnels, Eddie, Charles, Myla, Myneka, Bobby Jr., Danielle, Wendy and Willie Rimpson III; gre grandsons DaShawn Deonte’ Rogers Jr., Davon Gunnels and Towan; gre granddaughter T’mya Gunnels, and a host of gre grandchildren, special nephews Milton, Warren, Daryl McDaniels, Calvin McDaniels, Ernest McDaniels Jr., Mark Garrett; special nieces Algae, Micheele, Shawna, Yolanda, Lisa, best friend Ms. Rhoda. and extended family and friends who loved her.
