Oliver Victor Brooks

Oliver Victor Brooks 87 was born in Haiti, Mo. on June 1, 1931 to Lee Brooks and Almeda (Berice) Brooks who both preceded him in deh. As a young child Victor and his family moved to the Kansas City area where he became a lifetime resident. Oliver (Bay Boy) received his elementary and high school educion in the Kansas City school district. Ler in life he was ordained as a minister under the leadership of the le Dan Miller of Calvary Baptist Church where he served until his health failed and was placed in residential care for over 15 years. Bay Boy which is the nickname he was given and loved to be called was a traveling man, and in his own words “I have seen over half this country and many a things.” He loved for you to ask him questions so you could sit for hours just listening to him talk about all his memories. Baby Boy slipped away June 19, 2018 7:30pm with his gre niece Carmia Farnsworth by his bedside with Asana Hospice for support. Four sisters: Pearlie Mae Fuller; AnnaRose (Leetha) Brooks; Bertha Lee Smith; Ora Lee Collins proceded him in deh along with three brothers: Linnell Brooks; John Dee Brooks and Andrew Brooks. Oliver leaves to cherish his precious memories a son Oliver Berry of Kansas City, MO; a sister Pastor Dr. Christine Dunn of Kansas City,Ks; one grandson Aaron Berry of Kansas City,Mo and a host of nieces; nephews; gre nieces and nephews; gre gre nieces and nephews and other relives along with Asana Hospice.
