Obituary for Ms. Vickie Lynn Younces

Vickie Lynn Younces was born on July 18, 1958 to the union of Allene Blair & Robert Turner in Kansas City, MO. Her Parents, Grandmother Eddie Lee Goodwin, Uncles Charles, Lee, Willard, Marvin, Monroe and Ronnie, one Aunt, Gladys, God-Parents Joe & Mildred Cayson all preceded her in deh. She accepted Christ an early age and became a member of Greer Corinthian Church of Christ under the Pastore of Rev. Raymond Davis, Jr. and was a member of the Mass Choir. She had a beautiful and pure voice, loved to sing and began singing an early age. Vickie was a gradue Lincoln High School in 1976. She was a Majorette in school who loved to dance. She performed Football and Basketball games. She was very hletic and was a member of the Lincoln Track Team where she won multiple medals. She also went on to college after High School. Her employment began with Kansas City Royals and KC Chiefs Stadiums, ler going to Crown Center she was employed as a Housekeeper. After working for others, she started her own cleaning service. She loved cleaning whether it was for people or just family she made sure it got done right. Vickie was amazing, to all her knew her would say she had a bubbly personality, outspoken and was not afraid to tell you how she felt. She was the life of the party and always wanted to have a mic in her hand. She wanted everyone in her presence to be happy and would make sure of it. She always had something good to say to you. And her favorite saying: “You Look Good Doing” will be missed being heard. She would always let you know “You Need to Do Wh You Said”. Vickie ler settled down with the love of her life, Myron Sallard. He played such a major part in her life. They loved music and cooking. Always having family barbeques and karaoke nights. If you didn’t get to taste Vickie’s barbeque or her food you truly missed it. Myron will truly miss his “Lady V”. Vickie departed this earthly life to go to her Heavenly Home on, Surday, April 9, 2022. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. To cherish her precious memories she leaves two daughters, Keosha Moore “Steven” of Kansas City, MO; Reauchaan Williams of Forth worth, TX; Her Best friend and Love of her life, Myron Sallard of Kansas City, MO; Three Brothers, Robert Williams “Felecia” of Independence, MO., Marcus Williams of Kansas City, MO. And Kevin Blair “Sonya” of Kansas City, MO; Six Grandchildren, Ti’shay Wright, Cleosha Wright, Ebony Williams, Taui’Nuia Williams, Mikelle Carter and Ryan Duncan; Six Gre-grandchildren; Three Aunts, Lelia, Christian and Shirley; Best Friend, Annie Wheeler-Thurston; Special Families th she loved, The Chapmans, Grays, Morris and Johnson Families; her special “Grandma Nonie” and host of other relives and friends not mentioned nor forgotten.
