Fun loving and outgoing Valerie Jean Young- Prt, affectionely known as “Veeal” will be remembered with love long after her passing. Veeal transitioned on Surday September 18, 2021 in the home surrounded by her children and grandchildren the age of 55, after an eight-year journey of being an aneurysm survivor. Her children and grandchildren will strive to honor her memory by continuing to live their lives to the fullest. Veeal’s simplest pleasures in life included gardening, cooking, and music. It wasn’t uncommon to find her two-stepping and frying chicken the same time. She also loved football and basketball and had no problem telling you your team was trash. No one could tell a story more vividly than she could. Veeal enjoyed providing childcare services inside of her home for several years and built many relionships doing so. Her smiles, laughs, and pranks will be grely missed. Veeal is survived by her children; Tiandra “Twinkle” Harvey (Mace), Walter “Shug” Piercey (Melinda) and D’Anthony “DP” Prt. Her grandchildren Zae’on Harvey, Zae’V’ier Harvey, Mace McBride III, MaiCyiah McBride, NoriAna Piercey, and ToriAna Piercey. Her mother Edna Carter, her fher Grover Carter, her sister Regina Carter, two nieces Whitney Mozee and Britney Taylor and two gre nephews Brayden Taylor and Brent Taylor; with an abundance other relives and friends. Veeal will be grely missed.
