Obituary for Ms. Sheron D. Jones
Sheron D. Jones was born January 30, 1965 in Greenville, Mississippi to the parents of Cedella Jones and Melvin McDavis Sr. She departed this life March 27, 2022, she was preceded in deh by her Mother, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles. In 1971 her Mother and Grandmother reloced the family to Kansas City, Missouri from Greenville, Mississippi. She was educed in the Kansas City, MO Public School District graduing from Southwest High School Class of 1983. She confessed Christ an early age, Sheron was a member of Spruce St. Mtews Baptist Church under the le Rev. Dr. Emanuel A. Johnson & Rev. Donald Givins, Her current Church Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church Rev. Dr. Wallace S. HartsfieldII. Sheron was employed with St. Vincent Childcare, for a number of years, the Internal Revenue Service for a total of 15 years and her current job Olin-Winchester Lake City until her passing. Sheron was a woman th did it all and loved helping people of all ages, she tended Caruthers Dance Studio, She was a member of the 64th Street Steppers Drill Team. She taught Jazzercise for Senior Citizens, She was a spoke person for Breast Cancer Awareness, She served on the board for Alvin Ailey. She served in the board for every event and program Gregg Klice Community Center. She Helped with the annual community Health Fair and Co Drive. She taught high and low impact step aerobics. She was a member of Black Girls Run and Paseo Stairs Group, Sheron Loved her hometown football team the Kansas City Chiefs, and once tried out to be a Kansas City, Chiefs Cheerleader. Sheron competed in the Nural Southern Stes Classic Body Building Championships. One thing about Sheron is th she loved the kids and the kids loved her. In 2004 Sheron followed her passion for dance and established her own dance studio called Forever Dancing Studio. Sheron was a small woman with a huge heart, she could pick you up off your feet and she was truly the life of any party. She leaves to cherish her memories: (Fher) Melvin McDavis Sr., (2) sisters Wanda Graham (Glen), Sheila Moore, (1) brother Melvin MCDavis Jr., (6) Nieces, (2) Nephews, (19) Gre Nieces and Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and her very special friend Brookxie Malray and a host of relives and friends.
