Ms. Lee Ann Wright

Lee Ann Wright transitioned from this life on December 03, 2022. She was born June 11, 1969 in Kansas City, MO to George Douglas and Marion Wright. She was preceded in death by both parents and younger sister Rainey Elaine Douglas. Lee accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age, and was baptized as an acknowledgement of her commitment. As a young child, Lee attended Good Samaritan Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO, under the Pastorship of the late Reverend Walter J. Witherspoon. Later, when her family moved to Omaha, NE, Lee became a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in South Omaha under the late Pastor Fred Dixon Sr. Lee was a member of the choir under the direction of Sister Nell Winfred. Before her health started to decline, Lee was employed with CVS Specialty Pharmacy for 8 years. Lee previously held positions at Dell Computers and Argus Health Systems. Lee had a fun-loving, sweet and kindred spirit. She was a wonderful cook. Her most sought after cuisine was her lasagna and strawberry cheesecake, which was requested for all holiday family meals. Lee's favorite past time was watching movies and spending time with family, especially with her son, grandchildren, Roderick, his daughter, and niece, during their summer visits. Lee always wanted to maintain that special bond, that only sisters can have. Her nieces held a special place in her heart and felt a special joy at the arrival of her great-niece Savannah. She leaves to cherish her memories; her son, Darnell Williams; grandson, Lendrell Williams; granddaughter, Lilly Williams; her fiance' Roderick DeBruce; his daughter, Hannah DeBruce; his niece, Damara Gates; sisters, Martine(Samuel) Quartey, Cyrena Douglas; brothers, Prince Douglas, Brandon Douglas; nieces, Kelsey(Chris) Oliver, Myrikal; great-niece, Savannah; Aunt, Beverly Richardson; uncles, Ronald(Linda) Campbell, Carl Campbell; and a host of other family and friends.
