Obituary for Ms. Kimberly Ann Alexander (KIM), 56

Kimberly Ann Alexander (KIM), 56 of Kansas City, Missouri was born May 31, 1965 to Charles Khaliq and Margaret Rozella Alexander. an early age she was dediced into Islamic faith. She tended Bancroft Elementary, Mohammed Mosque #30, East High School and finalized her educion through Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center with gre tenacity as a leader, she was given the responsibilities as a TA to supervised and manage the young lady’s dorm during her few years Job Corps, she gradued with honors and several certificions as a Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Assistant, Dental Assistant and Food Service Worker. She had worked various jobs within all these fields. As time progress Kimberly had made the decision to take a different ph within her career. She moved to St. Paul Minnesota during the year of 1990, and started her career as a manager with Taco Bell Restaurant a total of ten years, she enhanced her career and started a Culinary Arts program within the Ste of Minnesota. After graduing with high marks, she immediely advanced into a position with Sodexho formally known as Airmark as a Sous Chef, which lead her to achieved a twenty-year tenure with several accolades within her management role. KIM’s drive and determinion sparked her enthusiasm she refused to allow the increased demands and responsibilities to detour her from achieving her goals. Kim enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and had a heart of gold she was known to all her nieces and nephews as an Auntie/Mother in their lives. Not having any biological children of her own, she acquired the role as a second mother in the lives of to two young ladies, she referred to both Rachel James and Brelinda Stewart, as her daughters. Brelinda, she took under her wings as an infant and raised her in her home for several years as a child she birthed. There wasn’t nothing she wouldn’t do for her family or friends; she took pride in making sure her mother was her first priority, she was her mother’s keeper and they were totally inseparable. Her quality time on her day off work, with her sister Staci they would gher MOM’s or KIM’s place and enjoy being together as sisters. She loved wching sports, during her younger years Kim and her brother Rodney would team up and engaged in many rounds of basketball games against the neighborhood fellas and would domine the court with many successful wins. She was a determine hard worker for twenty years she btle against the Minnesota severe cold elements, cching the bus and train making her daily commute several hours to work. Over a month ago prior to her passing she was promoted into another management position and her commute was just moments away from home. Kimberly departed this life peacefully on Friday, October 1, 2021. She’s proceeded in deh by both her pernal and mernal grandparents and her beloved niece Brittany Dixon. Kimberly leaves to cherish her memories with her mother Margaret R. Alexander of St. Paul MN, her fher Charles Khaliq Alexander, her brothers Rodney E. Alexander, William Perkins, Taha Perkins all of Kansas City, MO her sisters Staci N. Alexander (Ermon Dixon) of St. Paul MN and Taheeda Perkins of Kansas City, Mo. Her acquired daughters Brelinda Stewart and Rachel James and a special sister-in-law Loretta Alexander, special nephew Marcus Alexander; A host of aunties all of Kansas City, MO. Eighteen nieces and nephews, Twenty-five gre grandnieces and nephews; one gre- gre niece. More nieces, nephews, cousin and extended family & friends.
