Ms. Joan McIntyre

Joan McIntyre passed away on July 15, 2021 St. Lukes Hospice House, she was born on August 31, 1931 to the union of Russell Love and Ernestine Wilkerson in Kansas City, Missouri.She tended RT Coles and gradued and went on to pursue a degree in Nursing from UCLA School Of Nursing. She was employed Research Medical Center until she retired, she will be remembered for her kind heart, loving spirit abd her own style. She was a member of St. Augustine Episcopal Church and Order Of Eastern Star, Heronies of Jericho, Daughters of Isis, Syrenes and youth council Allah Court. She is survived by her daughter Amy Acklin(Phillip), grandchildren Martese Strother, Marielle Strother, Maurice Sloan and 3 gre-granddaughters and a host of nephews, nieces and close family members.
