Obituary for Ms. Debbie Rena Bernard

Debbie Rena Bernard was born January 15, 1957 to George and Corzena Mason in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the fifth of thirteen children born to this union. Her parents, eight siblings, and her son Cameron, all preceded her in deh. Debbie received her educion in the Kansas City School District and ultimely received her certificion as a nursing assistant. She took special pride in providing exceptional care for the elderly and worked for many years as a prive companion. In addition to caring for others, Debbie’s special joy was found in her family-mainly her two children and her grandchildren. Debbie was affectionely called ”Dutchess” “Dottie “and “Graham Cracker” by those closest to her. She was a giver and loved to shop for little gifts and trinkets for her loved ones. Debbie was an avid reader and kept a vast collection of books-she believed in keeping one’s mind stimuled. Debbie was a straightforward person and believed in being truthful in all things- she would always speak the truth in love. Debbie departed this life on February 17, 2022 and leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Rochelle Denise Mason, three sisters: Beverly Bogan, Annay Mason and Khy “Love” Brown. Two brothers: Shawn Mason (Sylvia) and Carl “Buck” Mason . Four grandchildren: Kamden “Yaya” Bernard, Cameron Bernard II, Mason Hampton, and Miles Gray and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relives, and friends.
