Ms. Arunah “Googie” haliah Ptillo

Arunah ” Googie” haliah Ptillo, 83, of Kansas City, Missouri. Passed away the Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri on January 13, 2020. Ms. Ptillo, was born May 1, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Lewis and Nannie Ptillo. She is proceeded in transition by her brother Jurel Ptillo, four sisters Willa Ptillo-Woodard, Freddie Ptillo-Bowman, Marsenah Ptillo-Fuller, Dorthula Ptillo, daughter Cynthia Reed and son Derek Reed. She was educed in Kansas City, Missouri Public Schools. After receiving her formal educion she went on to work various jobs finally as a cook for the Kansas City Public Schools retiring in 1999 after twenty years of service. Arunah then went on to work with Grace Center as a youth advisor for eighteen years. She leaves to cherish with fond memories with her daughter Alisande Ptillo-Calhoun; brother Gerald Ptillo; grandchildren Tamika Reed, Reginald Simmons, MarQuon Ptillo and haliah Ptillo, a host of gre and gre gre grandchildren, family and friends.
