Mrs. Robyn L. Brooks

Robyn Lrice Brooks, age 44, went to be with her Lord in the early hours of April 23rd, 2022 after a short but courageous btle with pancreic cancer. She was born December 3, 1977 in Kansas City, MO to Gloria Jean Dunlap Burns (70) and Robert Earl Clark(deceased) both of Kansas City, MO. Robyn was preceded in deh by her Fher Robert Earl Clark, Grandfher John Clark, Grandmothers Pauline Dunlap and Altha Clark and her brothers Robert Clark Jr., and Damon Foster. Robyn married her husband DeAndre Brooks, on Jan 24, 2009. She was a loving and dediced mother to Ry’Qail, Christopher II, Ry’Niece, and Ralph II. She simply adored her 3 Grandbabies Ry’Nell, Royce, and Caleya Robyn. Robyn had an undescribable bond with her sister Lawonda Smith (Lewis) and brothers Melvin Dunlap(White Robyn), Damon Smith, two Brother-in-laws Michael Merrill and Lewis Merrill(Stacie) and a Fher-in-Law Michael Brooks. She is still loved unconditionally by her Grandfher LC Dunlap who is 92 years young. She was the best Auntie in the world to her nephews and niece Melvin Jr., Robert Cylis, and Mykah. She leaves behind beloved friends Yonnie Williams, and Deborah Smith. There is simply not enough paper and ink to list every Uncle, Auntie, Cousin, or friends she loved and who dearly loved her back. Robyn accepted Christ a young age and in early 2021 reaffirmed her love of God and opened her heart to Christ as her Lord and Savior with her Brother-in-Law Lewis Smith. She gradued from Lee’s Summit High School. She recently gradued from Phlebotomist school and had started working in her field before she became ill. Robyn had a passion for singing and was usually the life of the party! She had the biggest heart and always went the extra mile for anyone. If she was going to do it, she was doing it big. She made a lasting impact on every single soul she met in this world. Robyn will be forever loved, missed, and remembered.
