Obituary for Mrs. Pricia Louise Shelton (Martin)
Pricia Louise Shelton (Martin) (lovingly referred to as P Lou by her Mom) was born September 1, 1949 to Eugene Shelton (Deceased) and Allayise Teresa (Pollard) Shelton of Kansas City, MO. P was the 4th child out of eight kids. She was preceded in deh by both her Pernal and Mernal grandparents, 4 brothers, Ronald Shelton Sr., Richard Shelton, Terry Shelton and his twin still born birth. One grandson, Edward Ewing II and 2 nephews, Ronald Shelton Jr. and Baron Shelton. A time to Plant P accepted Christ an early age the Antioch Baptist Church of Kansas City, Kansas. Ler when the family moved from Kansas she tended Cannan Baptist Church. She ended her membership the Second Missionary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member until her health failed her. P participed in WMU in the New Era District, and taught Sunday School many years throughout her Christian walk. She was always concerned about her family and friend’s salvion. P tended and gradued from Central High School in the Kansas City, Mo public School district. She learned how to sew in high school and th became her passion. She made a lot of her oldest daughter’s elementary clothes and Easter outfits for her 3 young children the time. P furthered her educion going to a Fashion Designer School here in Kansas City, MO and continued sewing off and on until she could no longer sew. P worked for the IRS a short time and then went on to work for General Service Administrion in the warehouse where she worked for over 20 years. After her position phased out with the Government she went on to work Walmart where her career ended when she lost her eyesight. P had a lot of determinion and was very independent which helped her to live completely on her own for over 25 years after the lost of her eyesight. A time to Pluck and A time to Die P departed this life on Wednesday, August 4th, leaving to cherish her memory, Mother; Allayise Henson; two Daughters; Angela Addison (Rodney), Lonya Adams (Donell); two sons; Kenneth Martin, Maurice Martin (Brianne); 14 grandchildren; Danielle Wofford (Robert), Kenicia Martin, Ticheyla Martin, Micheyla Martin, Kion Martin, Dominic Martin, Tierra Martin, Andrea Martin, Marquis Martin, Reece Martin, Maurice Martin Jr, Jorbre Martin, Brianika Ingram, Craig Ingram III; 7 gre-grandchildren; 4 siblings; Genevie Jackson, Vickie Shelton, and Derrick Shelton (Donya), Mary Cook; a special Sister; Bonita Jones; 2 bonus sons; Edward Ewing Sr., Norman Phipps; 9 Bonus grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
