Mrs. Julia Mae Finley

On May 23, 1960 God Blessed us with an Angel named Julia Mae Wkins, who was born in Charlotte North Carolina to the union of Elmer Wkins Sr. and Helen M. Wkins who raised Julia in Kansas City, Missouri and also proceeded her in deh. She accepted Christ an early age and continued to be a gre servant throughout her time on earth she received her educion in Kansas City Missouri public schools. She married early in life to Donald E. Finley Sr. to this union she had 2 children Donald E. Finley Jr. and Doniesha R. Finley. Julia Mae Finley worked Research Medical Center for many of her years as a Health Administrion Clerk. Julia was a very outgoing, fun spirit woman of God. She loved shopping, sewing, singing, dancing, spending time with the kids, grandkids, also loved to Vacion with her husband in Branson and abroad. Julia united with Spruce St. Mthew Baptist church in 1986 and throughout her service she was very active member in church as she served on the Usher Board for 20 plus years. She believed in feeding the hearts bodies and souls of all who came in contact with her homemade cooking and a Bright Beautiful Smile. Julia has a special relionship with all her close friends, family and to know her was to Love her. On June 4th, 2022 God called his precious daughter home where she shall rejoice with her grandmother Mary Freeman, mother Helen M. Wkins, fher Elmer Wkins Sr., brother Edward Johnson, sister’s Cheryl West, Jerry Wkins, Annetta Locke and Mary Allen. She leaves on to cherish her memories: husband Donald Finley Sr., son Donald Finley Jr. (Savanna), daughter Doniesha R. Finley, brother’s Elmer Wkins, Andre Wkins, Walter Wkins, Ronnie Wkins, Donnie Wkins, sister-n-law Karen Finley, brother-n-law’s Kenneth Thompson Sr. (Mary), Ricky Finley (Carolyn), (6) grandkid’s Ra’Mya Harris Finley, Donald Finley III, Taliah Ray, Tarron Ray Jr., Donnavan Finley, Sydni Finley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and close friends.
