Mrs. Emily Marie Kreighbaum

Emily Marie Kreighbaum, born on January 16, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas to biological parents Fletcher Redfield Lanham and Beverly Marie Steele. Graduing Baldwin High in 1966, Emily followed quickly with her marriage to Steven Dale Kreighbaum Sr. on June 18, 1966. The Birth of her two children followed with Steven Dale Kreighbaum Jr. on January 26, 1967. Her daughter Tammie Lei Kreighbaum arrived July 23, 1970 a nurally caring and selfless soul, Emily found her true calling in mother hood and was an excellent mother until the day she left this world. In 1985 Emily received her LPN license leading her into her lifelong career. She practiced nursing all the way into her retirement in 2016.Sadly on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 Emily was called to her heavenly home. Although devasted by the loss of a loving mother and grandmother, there is a small peace in her passing, peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Emily will be joining a few loved ones in her new heavenly home, tragically her husband and son both preceeded her in deh. Steve Sr. passing away July 5, 1998 and Steve Jr. passing away December 3, 2019, will also be waiting to welcome her. Her le step-sister Khy Knight, aunt Emily Eidson and uncle Chet Eidson. Her memories and love will survive in her loved ones she left behind daughter Tammie Lei Kreighbaum, grandchildren Seth Kreighbaum, Micala Kreighbaum, Christian Quijas, and Kaylee Quijas, half-sister Stella Lanham an Rayetta Lanham, step-sister Georgina Knight, cousin Johnny Rae Lanham and a host of family, relives and close friends.
