Obituary for Mr. Willie Green Elmore

Willie Green Elmore was born March 8, 1946 Macon County, in the city of Chesson, Alabama and was delivered by a Midwife home. Willie gradued from Deborah Cannon Wolfe High school in Shorter, Alabama1963, its Inaugural year. He served and is a Vietnam Army Veteran with service from 1964-1965 and was stioned Fort Rucker 1st Calvary Helicopter division mechanics. He was discharged from the Army in 1967. Starting his work career, he worked a year as a civilian Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, Alabama as a helicopter mechanic. Willie would go on to use these skills to repair cars, equipment and other mechanical devices Charlie’s Garage in New Jersey. Willie met and ler married Bessie Johnson in 1968. Worked LJ Kennedy Trucking Company for 15 years and his CB was “Bman”. He loved trucking, driving and was the oldest of 7 siblings and had a special relionship with “brother” Theocia (Teena) Elmore. His favorite thins: Fishing! He would travel to different locions for the best spots. Bowling: In leagues for over 50 years and had a lifetime average of ____. Color Guard for the VFW for years and Playing Pool ….He still did th! He leaves to cherich his memories, Wife Shelia, son William Elmore (Zelda) and daughter Cheryl (David), siblings, Harvester (Pricia), Sylvester (Anne) Taylor T. (deceased), Claude Agness (Johnhan), Clifford (Diane), devoted special nieces Cynthia, Cedricca, Janeria, 1 aunt and Willie Howard (deceased).
