Obituary for Mr. Virgil Washington

Virgil was born on October 24th 1965 in Kansas City Missouri to George William Washington and Virgilean Jr. Washington. He was the baby boy of 8 children. Virgil was a Kansas City nive where he tended high school Westport High. Many who knew Virgil would affectionally call him by his nick name which was “Man”, which was given to him by his fher as “Daddy’s Little “Man”. He loved to dance and loved playing his drums as a little boy. One of he other passions was fishing th he started as a little boy growing up in Kansas City Missouri on Troost St. Virgil loved to sing! One of which you could cch him singing B.B Kings classic hit “The Thrill is Gone “or another classic hit by the Originals “Baby I’m for real” or their other classic hit “The Bells”. Or the one song he grew up singing with his sisters and brothers and fher by Johnny Ace called “Pledging My Love”. Another thing Virgil loved to do was Bowl. This was his most favorite and most successful pastime he was dediced to. He would drive all over to tournaments where he would compete and win. He has won many trophies and championship bowling rings. This was something th he was most proud of. Whenever there was a tournament anywhere in the country he would take the opportunity to be there. Virgil ler moved to Belton Missouri where he worked Advanced Auto Parts. Virgil has one daughter named Cherelle who lives in Kansas City. Virgil passed away on July 28, 2021. He is preceded in deh by his mother Virgilean Washington, his Fher George W Washington and his older sister Audrey Galbraith Virgil Leaves behind his memories and life to remember to his siblings: Robin Washington-Williams, William Washington, George Washington, Georgette Washington his daughter Cherelle, his Nieces and nephews and many, cousins, and family members and friends.
