Obituary for Mr. Theodore (Teddy) McQuarters Jr.

Mr. Theodore (Teddy) McQuarters Jr. was born on May 5, 1950 to Mr. Theodore McQuarters Sr. and Mrs. Claudia James Mthews McQuarters. Teddy tended Yeager Elementary School and East High School. Teddy went on to specialize in Tree Trimming, it was his passion. He has left his skilled signure on many trees, homes and businesses. He also loved Interior and Exterior house painting and was very good it. He taught me how to cut with a regular Purdy Paint Brush instead of switching to a small brush. If anything was needed; food, clothing, transportion, etc. Teddy set out to make th happen because he was a hustler and enjoyed being a hustler. Some of his hobbies included Chess, Dominoes, shooting Pool, Shadow Boxing (he was fast with his hands), writing Poems like “The Tri-Cells Connection” and rapping out the lyrics of poems. Teddy was a man of wisdom and a thinker. Just like when on the chess board, he often summed up a solution before making a passione move. He had a heart for people, especially the youth. He has spoken positive words into many of my family member’s lives and they were captived by his storytelling and life experiences. Educion was big with Teddy, he encouraged everyone to strive for the best in life. Teddy invited Jesus into his life many years ago, he enjoyed praising God and Praying. His church home is Church Triumphant World Overcomers, Pastor Maurice Williams. Teddy departed this life to join his heavenly family on May 6, 2021. He is preceded in deh by his parents; Theodore McQuarters Sr., Claudia James Mthews Pterson, brother Stephen L. McQuarters, and his buddy, uncle George Jack and a host of other loved ones.
