Obituary for Mr. Terry Lee White
Terry L. White (Buke) 57 was born March 15, 1963 in Kansas City Missouri to Henry L. White and Willie Bell White. He departed this life on February 8th, 2021, and was preceded in deh by his fher Henry L. White, his mother Willie Bell (White) Anderson, and brother Murphell L. White. He received Christ an early age, where he was a faithful member of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church. Terry also was a firm believer in educion. Most of his schooling was in the Kansas City School district, before tending Excelsior Springs Job Corp to receive his GED. He went on to receive certificion as a Surgical Technician and a Massage Therapist. Terry had a strong work ethic and was a hard worker, he worked many jobs throughout his life, but the one he cherished the most was being a caregiver to those in need. Terry loved his family and had such a big heart. Always referring to his niece’s and nephew’s as his own although he never had any of his own children. He wouldn’t hesite to help out wherever he was needed no mter how big or small, like taking out trash, helping one of us move, or even being a caregiver to his injured brother for months, nursing him back to health. Being the fun and loving person, any time he was around you were guaranteed a good laugh. He shared many memories with his family and friends from telling funny jokes and stories, to breaking out in the cabbage pch. He had his own unique way of taking random everyday words and giving them a entirely new meaning, for example if he said I’M CLOSED you knew th meant he did not want to be bothered th day. This is just one of many phrases used by Buke th will always have significance to our family for years to come. Terry leaves to cherish his memory: three brothers, Alamin Hazziez (Tauheedah), Larry White (Elaine), Perry White; four sisters, Betty White, Carol White, Deborah Anderson (Lee) and Regina Hyder (Columbus);and a host of nephews, nieces, other relive and friends.
