Mr. Terry Darnell Butts

Terry Darnell Butts was born on September 05, 1956 to Roosevelt Sr. and Ruth J. Butts in Kansas City, Kansas He accepted Christ an early age Bethel AME Church under the leadership of Reverend S H. Lewis. Terry tended Lincoln High School and graduted in 1974. After gradusting from High School he became actively employed with the KCMO school district, The Westin Crown Center Hotel, Manor Bakery and part owner of Hollyrocks Records. Terry loved sports and he was a devoted Chiefs fan. In his spare time Terry enjoyed wching world wrestling entertainment, old western movies and bumping his car stereo listening to Frankie Beverly and Maze and the Isley Brothers on his way to his favorite restaurant, Ges Bar-B-Q. “T Butts” had his own unique personality th one will always remember. Terry departed this life January 28, 2022. Preceding him in deh are both parents, Momboo, Poppoo, one sister, Clarice (BeBe) Marshall, and one brother Jay Harvey Butts. Terry leaves to mourn his passing, one daughter, Tiawna J Butts, three sons, Jonhan Williams Sr., Terrell Ford, and Derrick Wooten Sr., Three sisters, Brenda Bean ( Paul) Linda Butts, and Theresia Jean Smith, Four brothers, Clarence (Slug) Butts, James Butts, Roosevelt Butts Jr (Eddie Mae) and Roy Butts.,Three Aunts, Naomi Rogers, Emma Jean Evans, and Dorothy Johnson. Eleven Grandchildren, Micah, Malia, Kaylee, Derrick (D. J.), Jamesa, Jae’lynn, Jabrielle, Jonhan Jr., Jalen, Quentin,and Terryn. Three Gre Grand children and a host of nieces. nephews, family and friends.
