Obituary for Mr. Larry “Cadillac” Lenzy

Larry Lenzy age 70 went home to be with his heavenly fher on Thursday, February 20, 2020. He was born on November 15, 1949 in Rusk, Texas to the le Joseph and Venora White Lenzy. He moved with his family to Kansas City, Missouri six weeks old. He was preceded in deh by both parents, one son Victor Jones along with four siblings Stan, Frank, Khy and Kevin. Larry tended HC Kumpf Elementary School then tended Central High School from 1964-1966. In January 1967 he enlisted in the Vietnam and was wounded. He received an honorable discharge in 1970. Larry worked as a welder and a postal service worker until retirement in 1998. Anyone th knows Larry know as “Cadillac” will tell you he was a true friend, loving and caring person. He leaves to cherish his memories: daughters Mary Jones, Kima Nelson, Lricia Caldwell, Lisa Burtin (Richard) of Kansas City, Missouri and Iretta Morgan (Ronzo) of Tampa, Fla., sons James Thompson and Travell Wilson of Kansas City, Missouri also Terrance Wilson ( Sherese) of Dalla, Texas. Three brothers Kenneth (Ethel) White of Augusta, Ga. Ronny and Bruce Lenzy of Kansas City, Missouri; four sisters Brenda Richardson of lanta, Ga., Loyce Lenzy of Kansas City, Missouri and Kim (Lafayette) Lacy of St. Louis, Missouri, Hazel Jackson of Dallas, Texas.
