Mr. Johnnie L. Moore

Johnnie L. Moore 77 years of age gained his wings on March 19th, 2020 with his loving wife by his side. He was born March 19th, 1943 in Belcher, LA to Willie Bee Moore and Saul Burnom. He was preceded in deh by his parents, five brothers, and one sister. He reloced from Belcher, LA to Kansas City, MO upon the deh of his gre grandmother to live with his mother Willie Bee, in 1954. He was a proud product of the Leeds community. His formal educion was in the public schools of Kansas City. In the le sixties, he worked Ford Motor Co. In 1972 he reloced to the city of Los Angeles, shortly afterwards, he became owner/operor of his own trucking company. In 1987, he met the love of his life, Barbara Haynes. To th union they had a daughter Nitiki (Nikki). January 1994, Johnnie and Barbara reloced back to Kansas City, where he resumed his trucking company. He was the ultime entertainer: Bar-B-Queing , cooking, lover of the Blues, and the taste for *Spirits*. In his ler years his favorite past time was spending time with his *little Buddy* -his grandson (Nikkolas). Johnnie is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara, one daughter Nitiki (Nikki) of the city, three sons: Johnnie, Paul (Sandy) of New Jersey, and Adrian (Veronica) of Grandview. Three sisters: Marie of the city, Ernestine of San Bernardino, CA and Janice (Robert) of Shreveport, LA. Six brothers: Gene and Ronnie Jo of the city, EccLee (Lora), Joe Louis (Naomi) , Walter (Barbara) of Shreveport , LA ; and Ervin (Maylean) of Flint, MI; four grandsons : DeAnte*, Nikkolas , Allen , and Marion, one granddaughter Imari, one sister/cousin Mary Jane Brown, two sister-in-laws: Bitha Harris and Jamie Rhodes, and one brother/friend: Donald (Faye) Phillips of Shreveport ,LA .
