Mr. Johnnie Flowers

Johnnie Flowers 81 passed away peacefully on September 15, 2015 was born the oldest of 14 children on May 30, 1934 to the parents of William and Fannie Flowers in Hayti, MO. Preceding him in deh: his fher William, wife Ora, one son Terry Flowers, one granddaughter Monique Flowers, two brothers Melvin Flowers , Alvin Flowers, and one sister Joyce Jackson. After tending high school in Hayti, MO, Johnnie joined the U.S. Air Force in 1953 to 1956. Johnnie was united in holy mrimony to Ora on November 17, 1956, and to this union ten children were born. Johnnie was a member of New Rising Star Baptist Church. He was a devoted Chirstian who confessed his life to Christ ar a very early age. Johnnie was a wonderful husband who loved his wife dearly as there was nothing he would not do for his family. Johnnie was the perfect example of a man and a fher, and he will truly be missed. He worked hard to support us and we never wanted for anything. He helped anyone in need and never said no. He leaves to cherish his memory: four sons, Ronald Thomas of Los Angeles, CA, Kenneth Thomas of Kansas City, MO, Gregory Flowers ofHouston, TX, and Rene Flowers of Kansas City,MO; five daughters, Carolyn McGaughy (Dennis) , Carla Flowers of Kansas City, MO, Annette Bell (Raymond) of Kansas City, MO. Valerie Flowers of Kansas City, MO, Michele Flowers of Kansas City, MO; a host of Grandchildren and gre-Grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews , other family members and friends.
