Mr. John L. Estis

John L. Estis was born on January 1, 1943, to the union of Simon Estis and Jennie Mea (Garrison) Estis in Pinebluff, Arkansas. John gave his life to Christ an early age. He received his educion in the Arkansas Public School system and upon graduion he moved to Los Angeles, CA. In 1963 he moved to Milwaukee, WI. In 1965 he moved to Kansas City, Kansas, around 1979 he was employed with Midwest Terminal Railroad where he retired in 2006. The Lord called him into Heaven on February 16, 2022. He was preceded in deh by both parents Simon and Jennie Mea Garrison (Estis), one brother Harold Estis (Dago); three sisters Dorothy, Rachel, Carolyn Estis, one son Frederick (Kenny) Estis, one daughter Zadi, two grandchildren Brandon and Lajaun Estis, one step son Imari Mumford. He leaves to cherish his memory: one sister Joan Estis of Texas, three sons Gregory D. Estis, John Estis Jr., Travis L. Estis, one step son Creese Mumford of Kansas City, Kansas, four daughters Dorothy L. Estis (Levels), Rahel Estis,Yu-Vonda Estis all of Kansas City, Kansas, Rosemary of Los Angeles, three- daughter in laws Christine Oneal (Estis), Don Estis, Renea and a host of grandchildren, gre grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
