Mr. Jerry McGill

Jerry Lee McGill, was born In Kansas City, Missouri, March 27,1942. He was the second child born to the union of Cecil McGill and Lelia Foster-McGill, both parents and his sister Cecilia McGill proceed him in transition. He was a Cholic and went through cechism St. Monica Church. Jerry was educed in Lexington as well as Kansas City, Missouri. Jerry served his country and volunteered to serve in the United Ses Navy aboard the USS Hornet, after receiving an honorable discharge , he returned to Kansas City and began working for the General Motors Company. He ler transferred to California to be closer to his daughter Letitia, from a previous marriage. During his time in California he joined the Masonic frernity becoming a member of Ceders of Lebanon Lodge #65 F&AM as well as membership in Los Angles Consistory #26 SJ/PHA. he ler remarried and to th union a son Reginald McGill was born. Jerry ler retired from general Motors and returned to Kansas City. Upon his return, being board he went back to work for Ford Motor Company in 1988 and had a second retirement in 2006. December 28, 1998 he married Sharon Bustomante. Jerry held membership in various organizions including the Masonic frernity, the Pioneer Club of Kansas City as well as part of the honor guard of VFW Post 5789, his hobbies included electronics, barbecuing, traveling and entertaining. Jerry leaves to cherish with fond and loving memories his wife Sharon McGill of the home; daughter Letitia Flowers (Edward) of Ontario, CA; sons Reginald McGill of Altadena, CA. and Darren Monticue of Compton, CA; stepsons Ronald K. Roberts of Fredricksburg, VA., Dana E. Roberts and stepdaughter Leslie N. Roberts both of Columbus, OH.; brother Clifford Wheley (Donna) of Los Angeles, CA; grandson Edward Flowers, Jr of Ontario, CA; sisters Maxine Thomas and Louise Mott both of Independence, MO; a host of relives and friends
