Mr. James Richard Sherman, Jr.

James Richard Sherman, Jr. was born September 20, 1945 to the parents of Sarah Sherman and James Sherman, Sr. and departed this life Tuesday, August 9, 2021. His mother, fher, two sisters, Beverly Sherman, Ellen Sherman, four brothers Curtis Sherman, Herman Eugene Sherman, Lemuel Sherman and William Ronald (Bucky) Sherman and one stepson, Richard A. Woods, Jr. preceded him in deh. James Sherman had three children, Regina Bosma, Tanya Whitaker, and Shaun Sherman. Marion and James Sherman were married in 1994 and remained married until his deh. James received his educion in Kansas City, Missouri and gradued from Lincoln High School. After joining the Job Corp James Sherman received the February Corpsman of the Month Award from Lincoln Center, Kansas City, Missouri in 1967. James was employed with the Kansas City, Missouri School District as a Maintenance Supervisor until he retired in 1995. He was also employed with First Fleet Trucking Company for several years and retired in 2008. James like being around his family and playing old school music and two-stepping with his wife. He was an over the road truck driver and enjoyed traveling by car. He loved to shoot pool. He enjoyed drinking his J.B, coffee and never missed cooking and eing breakfast every morning. He leaves to cherish his memory. His wife, Marion (Marilyn) Sherman of 26 years, two daughters, Regina Bosma and Tanya Whitaker both of Denver, Colorado. One son, Shaun Sherman of Jacksonville, Florida. One stepson, Charles (Stacy) Woods of Dallas, Texas. Two sisters, Doris Thomas of Las Vegas, Nevada and Audrey (Willie) Paul of Kansas City, Missouri. 14 Grandchildren, 8 Gre-grandchildren, a Host of nephew, nieces, gre-nephews, gre-nieces, other relives and friends.
