Mr. Glenn Russell, Sr.

Mr. Glenn Russell, Sr. passed away peacefully his home September 2, 2021. He was born in Greenwood, Mississippi April 16, 1951 to the union of Willie Ward and Viola Russell. his parents and siblings Richard L. and William Russell. He was raised in Greenwood and tended public schools. He reloced to the metropolitan Kansas City area in the 1980’s, he was an experienced roofer by trade and was blessed to own and opere his own roofing company “Russell Roofing Company”. Glenn was married to the le Berice Martin-Russell, for more than fifty years sharing a wonderful life until her heavenly transition in 1997. He is also proceeded in transition by his two daughters Regina Wells and Sandra Russell. Working hard to kept his company and family together he met Joane Colby in 2010 and together they blended a family. His hobbies were laughing, joking and spending time with family ,he was full of life and enjoyed it to the fullest. He leaves to cherish with loving memories special friend Joane Colby; children Glenn, jr., Sabrina, Gail, Louvenia, Charles, Percy, jr., Kelly, Jamie and Ja’Sohn; his sisters Regina Wells of Kansas City, MO. and Dorothy Russell of Greenwood,MS.; a host of grandchildren, gre grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many relives and friends.
