Obituary for Mr. Ernest Clark

Earnest was born November 15, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri to Nevada Byers-Isom and Earnest Clark Sr. Earnest grew up in Kansas City and tended Central High School. He married the love of his life, Mary Louise Morris in 1961 which they remained happily in love for 51 years until her deh. Earnest started his career General Motors before joining Kansas City Parks and Recreion as a equipment operor, union representive and retired after 25 years of service as a area superintendent. Post retirement, he worked the Black Archives of Kansas City and Swope Parkway Health Center. Earnest had a love for fine cars and jewelry. There was never a day he wasn’t dressed in his diamonds, gold, fur cos, h and driving a nice new shiny car. He was well known around Kansas City by many. He never met a stranger and never lost an argument. Earnest was always up for a good disagreement because he knew he would win. He loved fishing, hunting & traveling with family and friends and loved playing cards with his favorite cousin Walt. Earnest will forever be a loving memory in our hearts and he will be missed dearly by family and friends. Earnest was preceded in deh by his wife Mary L Clark, Sons; Earnest J Clark and Adrian Clark, both parents Nevada Byers Isom and Earnest Clark Sr, Brother Claudis Byers Sr, Sister Virginia L. Taylor, nephews; Terry Byers, John Findley Jr and Antoine Findley; Brother in Laws, David Morris and James Morris. Earnest leaves to cherish his memories; Sons Robin Clark and Steven Clark, (Reeyana), Sister Birdie Findley, Grandchildren, Reginald Davis Sr. (Regina), Robin N. Clark, Steven D. Clark, Baelee Clark, Elijah Clark, Gre Grandchildren, Reginald Jr; R’Mon, Ryan, Ra’Heim, Tae’lor and Chris; Sister in Law: Billie Morris, Brother in Laws; Clifford Morris (Carmela) and William Taylor. His favorite cousins, Walter Byers, Frank Byers and Majestic Byers Williams; The Mega Byers and Canady families and a host of nieces, nephews, relives and friend.
