Mr. Edward H. Kidd was the eighth sibling born on April 30, 1947, to the union of James and Mtie Kidd, in Vance, Mississippi. His parents James and Mtie Kidd of Kansas City, MO., Gloria Jean Kidd {Wife} of Kansas City, MO., Lottie Tennin-Flowers {Sister} of Rockford, IL., William H. Kidd{Brother} of Rockford, Il., Arthur J. Kidd{Brother} of Kansas City, MO., and Robert E. Kidd {Brother} of Kansas City, MO., preceded him in deh. Edward received his Heavenly wings on Tuesday April 20, 2021. an early age, Edward affectionely known as “Sam” was raised in Kansas City, MO. He tended school in Kansas City where he gradued from Central High School. He furthered his career as a licensed carpenter, and became a general contractor; Sam worked for Yellow Freight Company for several years, and then became a self-entrepreneur until God hired him to be a carpenter in Heaven. Sam married his high school sweetheart, Gloria Jean Kidd in Kansas City, MO. To this union three loving siblings were born, Edward L. Kidd, Kevin L. Kidd and Rochelle L. Kidd. After 49 loving years of marriage, Gloria preceded him in deh February 18, 2014. Sam accepted Christ an early age in life. He was a faithful member of Community Fellowship Church, where he served on the Deaconess and Trustee Ministries. His carpentry skills allowed him to assist in completing projects with the up keep of the Church. Sam spent numerous summer vacions camping, weekend hunting trips, and fishing. He never missed an opportunity to socialize. His favorite past time, was spending quality time with family and friends. Sam leaves to cherish his memories: Two loving sons; Edward L. Kidd, Kevin L.
