Obituary for Mr. Dennis Louis Arrington

Dennis Louis Arrington was born on Fher’s Day, June 17, 1951, in Kansas City, MO. He was the first born child to the union of Amos and Helen Arrington. He departed this earthly life on Friday, May 8, 2020. He was preceded in deh by his mother, Helen and 2 brothers; Kevin A. Arrington & Carey L. Arrington and 1 sister Goldie M. Brown (James) Dennis was educed in the Kansas City School District, graduing from Central High School in 1969. He was employed as a mechanic with Kansas City Area Transportion Authority for over 20 years, retiring in 2009. He has always had a strong relionship with Christ, whether he was a member of a church or not. He has taught Sunday School, served as a trustee, in addition to making himself available to assist whenever, and wherever he might be needed. Dennis was raised into the Prince Hall Masonic Order on December 23, 1972, and was initied into the A.E.A.O.N.M.S. of North and South America, and its Jurisdictions shortly thereafter. Dennis was a very social person and he loved to simply “hang out” on the porch with family and friends. His brother Carey always said he was a Jack of All trades master of many. He was an avid fisherman, and loved to fish all hours of the day and night. He had his own fishing bo so it was not unusual for him to be out fishing 2 am. Those who are left behind to mourn his passing and to celebre his life include: 2 sons, Dennis L. Arrington, Jr., and his mother Belle Arrington; Dameon L. Brown (Monique) and his mother Cynthia M. Brown, His fher, Amos Arrington; a sister, Maria R. Arrington and a grandson Davion A. Arrington. There is also a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relives and friends whose life he touched and will miss him dearly.
