Mr. Dennis C. Stowers

Dennis C. Stowers was born March 25, 1953 to the union of Floyd and Eula Lee Stowers in Kansas City, Mo. On February 16, 2020; God called him home. Dennis tended public schools in the Kansas City School District. He gradued from Paseo High School class of 1971. Dennis played the position of quarterback on his high school football team, leading him on to an hletic scholarship the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff in the position of quarterback. Dennis was preceded in deh by both parents, four brothers Billy Stowers, Floyd Stowers Jr., Larry Stowers Sr., Lawrence Stowers, and one sister Sarah Stowers. Dennis accepted Christ an early age Emmanuel Baptist Church. He worked various jobs in Kansas City, Mo.; Austin Tx; and Havelock N.C. He found his niche in cooking and become a well-known Chef. He enjoyed bragging about the many different dishes he was able to prepare for customers and how much they enjoyed them! Dennis had a sense of humor th would have you laughing until it hurt! He enjoyed talking with his family members which he did on a regular basis. Dennis was an avid card and domino player and loved singing with his brothers. He was a member of the local singing group, Down to Earth, along with his brother Tommie and extended family members. The group performed in the Kansas City area in the 70’s. Dennis was a devoted son, brother, fher, grandfher, uncle, and friend! He touched the lives of many and will always be cherished! He leaves to treasure his memories his devoted daughter Angela Storay, Grandchildren Jason Young and Samaria Cannon, brother Tommie Stowers (Bernice), sister Brenda Pitts, two sister- in-laws Willean Stowers and Nettie Stowers, one aunt Ida B. Stowers, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
