Mr. Calvin James DeCarlo Jones

Calvin James DeCarlo Jones, was born November 19, 1973 in Kansas City, Missouri to Annette Jones and Walter Smith. Calvin was a loving, intelligent and charismic child and many loved him. He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri where he tended the Kansas City Public School District. He excelled in many things especially basketball and went on to become his high school teams Captain, going on to win several championships and trophies. Calvin was struck by tragedy while in high school th left him paralyzed as a young adult, but it didn’t dampen his spirits or determinion. He began to focus on his educion and went on to gradue high school and then enrolled in college to pursue his educion receiving his Associe of Arts degree in Business Management, then on to UMKC to obtain his Bachelors Degree. Calvin was in the process of furthering his educion and was currently enrolled in the Master’s program. Calvin departed this life November 14, 2020. He is preceded in deh by his mother Annette Jones-Greenfield, brother Marlon Greer, niece Alexis Hunter, nephew Deon Paige. He leaves to cherish his memory five brothers Walter Smith(Gina), Monte Jones, Marlon Smith, Marvin Smith and Walter Greer; sisters Marla Smith(Jaylen), Lonya Warren, Crystal Jones(Xavier), Sabrina Smith, Sheba Young(Rick) and Lutee Jones; two young men which he raised Calvin Jones and Darnell Rodgers; five grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear friends.
