Benjamin Andre Franklin was born January 19, 1951 in Kansas City, MO, he was the youngest of eight children born to Mabel and Tommy Pickle. Benjamin, also known as Benny, gradued from Central High school. After high school Benny went on to become a long distance Truck driver. The truck driving life gave Benny a strong passion and lifelong love for travel. He and his spouse, Stephanie Woolridge, would eagerly pack up and take a vacion on a whim solely for the purpose of leaving Kansas City and experiencing new parts of the world. He would trade to any part of the United Stes without the use of any navigional devices like a map or GPS, which is why one of his daughters refers to him as, “the Human GPS”. Benny was a huge chief’s fan and loved playing dominoes. He insisted on teaching others how to play, with included forcing the loser to take shots and endure his smack talking as a punishment. Benny loved working on he and his children’s cars (for a small fee) as he had also worked as a mechanic. He would always try to assist his children in any way he possibly could. Benjamin was preceded in deh by his parents Mabel and Tommy Pickle, his three older brothers Edward, Tyrone and Jerome, three sisters Annette, Carmen and Mary Jean, and two step-children James Williams and De-Mon Woolridge. Benjamin leaves to mourn his spouse Stephanie Woolridge whom he lovingly referred to as my Boo, his three sisters, Sylvia, Tommie, Janie, and his children, Teresha, Thomas, Tysaiah (Alyssa), Bianca (Deonte) Robertson, Benjamin Jr., and Alexis. He also acquired bonus children from previous relionships whom he loved dearly; Benjamin Franklin, Andrea Crosby, Leilani (Iman) Kernal, Shawauna Sims, Mariah Franklin, and Dion Woolridge. He leaves behind 22 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Benjamin Franklin Sr. had a unique personality and flair th is incomparable to any other.
