Obituary for Mr. Anthony Samuels

Anthony Keith Samuel was born to David Samuel and Imogene Spencer on May 4th 1955 in Kansas City, Kansas. His fher David Samuel and one brother (David Michael Spencer) preceded him in deh. Anthony made his transition on Tuesday March 15th 2022. As a young child he tended Second Metropolitan Baptist Church where he sung in the Junior Choir. Anthony was baptized an early age and accepted Christ as his savior. Anthony, AKA “Tony”,” Triple T”, “Too Tall”; tended the Kansas City Kansas Public School District He worked as a General Labor under the Labor Ready Program for several years. Anthony also served his country for some time in the Marine Corp Reserve. He also worked as a cook for several years. His passion was working on cars which he learned from his dad “Sam”. Anthony was a painter for many years but also did flooring and sheet rocking with his cousin Ronald. He started working with his cousin Harold in the family business known as Spencer’s Interior & Exterior decoring services and ler worked alongside his brother Greg affectionely known as Doc for a few years in the Samuels Painting business. In his pass-time he loved listening to “70’s music. He loved sports, wching “Kung-Fu” movies and tending family gherings. Whenever you saw ‘Tony” he always had a word search book in hand, which he literally took everywhere he went. Anthony is survived by his Mother Imogene Spencer Starr, two daughters: Meriam A Turner KCK, Clarissa Kendrick, KCK, and one grandchild, Semeria Peoples Three brothers Joseph A Starr (Evelyn) Moreno Valley,California, Gregory Samuel KCMO, George Samuel, Grandview MO. Five Sisters, Clearlis A Starr, Raytown MO, Cheryl Hardy-Roark, Grandview MO, Phyllis Jensen (Ronald) KCK, Vicki Samuel Roh KCMO, Shenette Bass (Theo) KCK. One uncle Stewart Spencer (aka chicken stew) And a host of nieces, nephews’ cousins and friends He will be truly missed by his family!
