Minnie Lee Rainey

Minnie Lee Rainey 80 was born to Callie Doggett and Sydney Veasey on July 5, 1937 in Memphis TN Minnie Lee Rainey departed this life Surday August 26, 2017. And was raised by Buford Williams Sr.(Stepfher). the age of 80 Minnie transitioned this life the home surrounded by loving family. Minnie united with St. Peters CME church under the leadership of Rev. Antoine Shyne. She remained a faithful member for more than 50 years. She served as a member of the Stewardess Board #3 St. Peters. Minnie gradued from Booker T. Washington H.S in 1956 in Memphis, TN. She has a bachelors degree in Educion from Pittsburg Ste University Pittsburg, KS. She was an Alpha Kappa Alpha member. On November 18,1961 Minnie met and married James Rainey.To this union one son was born,Shaun Rainey. She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Shaun Rainey Sr.(Shana),six grandsons, two granddaughters and two gre grandchildren. She also leaves a host of other relives and friends to remember her beautiful soul.
