Mickell L. Tolbert

Mickell “Kell” LaShawn Tolbert 21 was born on March 8, 1995 in Kansas City to the union of Michael and LaKenda Tolbert. birth she weighed 1lb. 9oz. and according to the doctors has a slim chance of surviving. By the grace of God she fought and survived, becoming our miracle baby she truly was heaven sent. Mickell tended Ruskin High School where she gradued in May of 2013 with Honors and Valedictorian. She received a full ride scholarship to Avila University. As a third year nursing student, she was working towards her degree as a Nurse Practitioner, while also maintaining two part-time jobs. Mickell was extremely smart and very ambitious with a bright future ahead. She was very loving with a heart of gold, a beautiful soul who loved her family and friends dearly to know her was to love her. Mickell departed this life on Monday September 5,2016. She was preceded in deh by her mernal gre-gre grandparents General And Linnie Jordan, gre-grandmother Mary Kennedy and Barbara Johnson Mernal grandfher Kenneth Johnson. Pernal grandparents Willie and Willie White, Rose Tolbert and Otis Tolbert. She leaves to Forever cherish her memory: her parents Michael Jr. and LaKenda Tolbert, one brother Michael Tolbert III, mernal grandmother Linda Hudson, pernal grandparents Molly Forte, Michael Sr. and Jackie Tolbert, Aunts Jamesetta(Jerry), Yasha, Jaquita (Jason) Sonya, Mosha, Avadonn, Uncles Jonas, Tyrell, David, Kenny, Carlston (Erica) and a host of gre Aunts, gre Uncles, Cousins and extended family and friends. Mickell was loved by all and will truly be missed.
