Malena Young

Malena Young 47 passed away peacefully on January 24, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. She was born on June 16, 1969 to Merna Elaine Easton and John Woolridge. She was raised by her stepfher Theron Wade English and mother. She departed this life on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. Malena received her educion n the public school district in Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas. She received her C.N.A. Concord University. She worked permanently in the medical field, Scotch Deluxe Cleaners, and her last employment was the Good Will in Lee’s Summit, MO. Malena married Gregory Young, Jr. and to this union one son Gregory Young III was born. She was preceded in deh by her mother Merna E. English, and, grandmother Rosetta L. Easton, and fher John Woolridge. Malena leaves to cherish her memories: two sons Gabriel “Java” English and Gregory Young III and her four-legged dog Kaylee. Malena loved the Lord and her church family of the whole Truth House of Prayer Apostolic Faith. Malena was very dediced to the well being of her sons. She also was very loving and caring to her mother during her illness. She was very close to her grandmother Rosetta Easton and concerned about her. Malena had a very big heart and was always willing to help in anyway she could. She played the Organ and help teach Sunday School. She always was willing to help in the Church. She also leaves one sister Ebony Rae English, stepfher Wade English, a very special mother-in-law Shelly Peppers, and best friend Una Lawton, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relives and friends. Malena was always good for a Laugh. She had a contagious sense of humor. She will be grely missed.
