Linda Camille Owens

Linda Camille Owens, was born March 1, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Rev. James Lafyette Owens, Sr. and Helen Vance-Owens. She spent her childhood years in Mexico, Missouri living with her maternal grandparents. Linda attended Garfield Elementary School in Mexico, in her early teenage years returned to Kansas City to reunite with her mother and siblings and continuing her education in Kansas City graduating from East High School. Linda loved to play bid wist, listening to music and two stepping, and spending countless hours on the phone with family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters Rosalind Owens and Telia Dunn; nephews Darrell Bradford, James Owens, Virgil Owens Jr. (Chip) and Michael Duschen; nieces Cheryl Owens and Emily Duschen; grandchildren Justin Campbell, Xavier January, Tre'Vae Dunn, Byron Anderson, Destyni Anderson, Dynasti Dunn; great nephews Dartez Bradford and Alex Martell; brother in law Scott Duschen and very special long time friend Ernestine Dedrick. She is reunited with brothers Dr. James L. Owens Jr., Rev. Virgil Owens Sr.; sisters Sylvia Owens-Dushcen, Sharon Owens-Bradford and Deborah J. A. Owens.
