Lillie Mae Mthews

Lillie Mae Mthews 84 departed this life on May 15, 2018 was born to Robert Crane and Gracie Crane on May 13, 1934 in Bienville Parish, LA. She was the ninth child of fourteen children. Lillie moved to Kansas City, KS. To be with her sister Carrie (Crane) Malone in 1953. She met the love her life McClellan Mthews Jr. On January 24th, 1955 they were united in mrimony. To this union two daughters and three sons were born. Lillie was employed by Providence Hospital for many years as a Nurses Aide before retiring in 1999. Lillie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She loved spending time with family and friends. She played a major role in raising her grandchildren and gre grandchildren. , she was preceded in deh by her husband McCellan Mthews Jr. eleven siblings and one grandson. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters: Angie Mthews and Karen Beverly (Everett) three sons Vincent Mthews (Celeste), Victor Mthews and Vaughn Mthews. Two sisters, Henriett Simmons and Lucille Williams; five grandchildren; along with a host of gre grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
