
Obituary for Kenneth R. Williams, Jr.
Kenneth R. Williams, Jr., passed away November 9, 2024 in Raytown, Missouri. He was born August 21, 1992 in Kansas City, Missouri. There to love, nurture, and guide him were his loving parents to Cecelia M. Lawrence - Wilson and Kenneth R. Williams Sr. (Peresa) He is preceded in transition by his paternal grandparents Warren Williams and Betty Brown, maternal grandfather Henry Forte, brother Dominic Carter, uncle Leroy Brown, and cousin Aaron Thomas Kenny was a good child. His childhood was full of love, family, and friends. He recited his primary education in the Hickman Mills and the Lee's Summit School Districts Kenny was a very active member of the Club Scout, and later Boy Scouts troop 6 Second Baptist Church where his grandmother Betty Brown, was the Troop Boy Scouts leader. He loved participating in sports activities such as little league football, basketball and soccer. Kenneth loved practicing and teaching others about his religion (He Loved Islam) and spent many hours at the Masque. He passionately prayed 3 times per day and participated in religious fasting. He was most proud and passionate about being an entrepreneur and often inspired others in business and ownership. His greatest life’s accomplishments was starting a carpet cleaning business. He carefully built his credit, and purchased his first carpet cleaning machine in 2017. He loved going to work as a carpet cleaner, and named his company Dry Champs LLC. It is believed that he has added everyone in his life, to his cleaning schedule, and some point and time….LoL… Cecelia recalls his excitement about asking family, friends, and every store he walked into, if they would want their carpet cleaned. She would ask “how many do you have today, or where are you going today? Kenny would say I'm getting ready to go clean a carpet at a house or business. Then he would give the whole story about how long it's going to take, and the measurements of the wall-to-wall carpet and the whole nine yards. He leaves to cherish with loving memories his mother Cecelia Lawrence-Wilson; Kenneth Williams Sr.(Peresa); brothers Denzel Williams and Darius Williams; sisters LaTasha Crawford(LaQuanta), Aundra Jenkins a host of aunts uncles, cousins, relatives and many friends.
