Kelvin Alonzo Hill

Kelvin Alonzo Hill (54)passed away September 20, 2016. He was born to Angeline Rushing-Hill and Odell Bryant on January 5, 1962 in Kansas City, MO. Both mother and fher precede him in transition. Kelvin was the eight children in a family of ten. His sisters, Donzetta Webb, Betty Joyce Allen, & Gloria “Boo” Jones, as well as one brother, Ardist Kirk Hill precedes him in transition. Kelvin received his educion in the Kansas City, MO Public School System. He was a well-known, respected carpenter and electrician in Kansas City area. Kelvin’s passion for building and designing were demonstred in all of his works. His boisterous laughter was contagious. He never met a stranger; Kelvin loved people, he loved to dance (Two-Step) and though he could not hold a note, he loved to sing. He had a gre love for his family and friends and made sure th this was known. Kelvin transitioned from this life to the next on September 20, 2016. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, three daughters, Shaunta Howard-Epps (Trimond), LaRhonda Gordon (Anthony), and Kalmia Hill, one son, Kelvin Alonzo Hill, II of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren, David Beeks, Ali Elamin, Jasmine Epps & HeavenLee Skyy Austin; Three sisters, Cozett Hill, Evelyn Hill, and Ramona Winfield, two brothers, Coye Hill, Jr. and Odell Hill of Kansas City, MO. Kelvin will also be deeply missed by his close friends whom were more like brothers, Willis Frank Jones, Ray Porche, Terry Jackson, Rick Williams and Horacio O’Neal, along with a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
